Another very informative article. I had never heard of Jenn Air water filters before reading this. What makes them superior to other water filter brands? I know that my area has an issue of too much iron in our water, I wonder how well these would work to resolve that problem. Sometimes our water has a weird, greenish tint, although it tastes normal. I will definitely check these out!

Thanks for all of the information on Jenn water filters! I didn’t know there were so many types of filters, nor did I know you had to change them out on a regular basis, like this article explains. This article helped me figure out whether Jenn Air refrigerator water filters were right for me.

This is very interesting about these filters. How does it work to get chlorine of of water? I really want that to get out of the water because of headaches. We had a filter on for over a year. It got slower over time, so is this because of the filter being dirty, that it makes the water drip out slower?

I have never seen Jenn Air filters. I have always just purchased the one suggested by the store employee. Maybe I will have to compare these to the brand I have been using to see if they are right for me.

Wow! I did not know about Jenn air filters at all. From what your article says they sound very dependable and reliable. I wonder if they filter out fluoride though? because we get a lot of fluoride in our water here and I don’t my kids to lose out on that.

I agree, getting water from your refrigerator is a luxury but it shouldn’t be. Jenn Air filters seem like an affordable alternative to water products today I would use simply for the handy location. No separate water stand. Filtered, clean, cold and fresh from the refrigerator. My family would love this as well.

An absolute necessity in a time when drinking water is going to get scarce and the major wars would be fought over the water reservoirs. I had several problems drinking the tap water which lead me to visit my Doc at least twice a month after he suggested me water filter. Its not an option, its a need.

Another good write. I have three small children so these types of issues are very interesting to me and my husband. The things found in our drinking water can harm children as well as us adults. We really need to focus more on what to do in the home besides bottled water.

I am so surprised to find out that cysts and other similar materials are found in the water that I drink. I did a quick search and am appalled. It’s interesting to hear that not all filters get rid of them either. I like the idea of taking a local approach as well, and looking at the chemicals and sediments in my particular water
